Elementary Winter Concerts

It’s that time again! The Johnson Creek Elementary Winter Concert is next week. The K-4 elementary students have been working very hard to learn their winter concert songs, and they are very excited for you to come join us for the concerts on Tuesday, December 10th in the Weis Center.

The K-1 concert will be first, and will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. K-1 students need to arrive at 5:45 pm to get lined up and on stage. As soon as the concert is over, we ask that you exit the Weis Center, so we can begin the 2-4 concert promptly at 6:45. Students in grades 2-4 will need to arrive at 6:30. Please park in the main parking lot and enter through the main high school doors. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Johnson Creek Education Foundation will also be selling packaged Berres Brothers branded snacks for $6 each, with the profits funding student scholarships and grants for teachers. Snack sales were one of their largest fundraisers last year, and make wonderful stocking stuffers. Please bring cash if you would like to purchase these items.

4K Winter Program

Date: Thursday, December 19th, 2024

Time: 6:00 p.m. (4K students arrive at 5:50 p.m.)

Location: The Weis Center (Johnson Creek MS/HS) - please enter through the main high school entrance.

Penny War

The elementary will be teaming up with the middle/high school to raise money for Jefferson County Christmas Neighbors again this year. Students may bring in money through Wednesday, December 11th. Each classroom will have a bucket for donations.

We will celebrate everyone’s generosity with a movie and popcorn party in each class before winter break!

Dress for the Weather

Winter weather has arrived. Please be sure students are dressed appropriately for the cold and snow by helping them remember hats, mittens, snow pants, boots and of course a jacket. Students will need to have boots and snow pants to play on the equipment when it snows this winter. If your student is in need of any winter items, please contact the elementary office and we will make sure they have what they need to stay warm.
