Permanent Shop Placement for Freshmen
Monday, April 8th marked the start of permanent shop placement for our freshmen. Some students have already inquired about transferring out of their first choices and/or being added to waitlists. We will entertain these conversations; however, it is very important that students do not rush to judgement leading to a premature decision to transfer. Please encourage your students to give it time because things might start slow, but it will pick up! If your child did not land in a first-choice shop and is unhappy, we manage these conversations a bit differently, but we still want students to keep an open mind. Thank you in advance for your support and best wishes for success and happiness to all our freshmen.

Attention Class of 2024
The Shawsheen Tech Guidance Office created the following document: Senior College Planning Checklist as a tool to help you complete the steps required to apply to college. If you plan to apply to a 4-year college, please review the document and reach out to your counselor if you have any questions or need clarification. Counselors will be visiting students in Related to give a general overview of the college application process but a 1-1 appointment with your counselor is recommended, especially if you plan to apply to college with an “Early Action” deadline (typically on or around November 1st).
