Hella 90s Party!
Volunteer & Show Us Your Moves!
Hiya Toro Community, With a little less than 60 days until our Hella 90s Party Auction, we are only a 3rd of the way to matching last year's donation value. Let's keep those donations coming! So here's how you can help. Do you know a business (BIG or small) that would be willing to help raise money for our Spring Benefit by donating their goods or services? It can be just about anything. Maybe you have or know someone that has a vacation home that could donate a few days? Or maybe you run your own business and can donate some of your services or goods in exchange for publicity? We are looking for it all! Here are some examples of local businesses that have donated an opportunity to experience their offerings. Check out Bandaloop, they specialize in dancing on buildings and have been established in West Oakland since 1991! Or maybe you rather enjoy watching others jumping through hoops and throwing each other in the air? Check out the Club Fugazi experience, which has donated their experience to enjoy “Dear San Francisco”.
Businesses can donate by contacting auction@monterapto.com or filling out this donation form.

Support Mr. Cooper and BORP in the 2024 Cocodona 250
"I take great joy in being able to share and encourage that experience of self discovery in others, and I’m a firm believer that everyone deserves the opportunity to access these transformative pursuits and opportunities! In partnership with the Wander Project, I am raising money for BORP, a Bay Area organization which provides adaptive opportunities for sports and recreation for disabled youth and veterans.
Donating to BORP helps provide adaptive sports and recreation opportunities for those who may otherwise not have those same opportunities for self-discovery. Please consider donating because every little bit helps!"
Mr. Cooper is half way to his goal! DONATE HERE by April 19.

FREE Computer Programming Classes
OpenBrackets is a nonprofit that teaches free computer programming lessons to youth. We take a unique approach to teaching; all our classes are designed and taught by high school students. Over the last three years, we taught classes to hundreds of students, providing them with a foundation to pursue futures in technology.
We would like to offer this opportunity to the students of Montera Middle School. Our classes are a good opportunity for students to explore different aspects of computer coding.
