Thank you for the donations for Springdale Police Department Halloween Fest. The hallway winners will be announced Monday. All students are invited to this community event. See flyer below.

Report Cards will be coming home on Monday. If you have any questions, reach out to the classroom teacher.

The fifth grade program is October 22nd at 6PM. Please enter through the back doors (bus lane). Doors will open at 5:45PM.

Shout out to all of our runners that participated in our Cross Country races! Coach Moppin and Coach Mitchell are amazing and made sure that students had a great time. And special shoutout---Our K-2 Boys won their division!

Important things for this week:

• Keep raising money for the Color Fun Run! Our goal is for every student to raise $40. Prizes will be awarded for different levels of fundraising. Thank you to all of our sponsors. We are blessed to have corporate level sponsors at Young Elementary. See the Color Fun Run Newsletter!

Save the Date (It's on October 31st!!) and plan to come watch your child have the best time. Individual fundraising materials were sent home with students! We moved to an online platform to make it easier this year, but there is still the option of collecting traditionally with the envelope. We are working to raise money to update the jungle gym playground equipment! See the image below!

Student order forms came home this week! Money is due by the 25th. Remember, you can upload additional artwork too!

Veterans Day is coming soon. Our second graders will be performing for Veterans Day this year. We are planning to add a small slideshow to our performance. If there is a veteran or active military member in your child's life, please send a picture to younginfo@sdale.org. Include the veteran's name and student's name. All photos need to be sent in by Thursday, November 7. We will include all slides from last year if the student still attends Young Elementary. If there are changes to that slide, please let us know. You are invited to attend The Veterans Day program on Monday, November 11th at 6:00PM. All Veterans are welcome!
