Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year at Mesilla Elementary! We hope you had a wonderful summer filled with fun, relaxation, and memorable experiences. As we begin the 2024-2025 academic year, we are thrilled to welcome both our returning students and those who are new to our school community.
Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming year, ensuring that our classrooms and curriculum are ready to provide the best educational experience possible. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Open House: August 1, 2024, 5:15 pm-6:15 pm
New Staff Members: We are excited to introduce several new teachers and staff members who have joined our team. Please join us in giving them a warm welcome to Nurse Jesse Herrera-Saenz, First Grade Mrs. Bustamante, Fourth Grade Mrs. Chavez, Fourth/Fifth Mrs. Hernando, Fifth Grade Mrs. Treesh, Special Education Ms. Hackney and Mr. Tucci, and Social Worker Ms. Villa.

We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are crucial to student success. We encourage parents to get involved in school activities, join the PTO, and communicate regularly with teachers and staff. Your support and involvement make a significant difference in our school community.
