Fargo Public Schools announces the assignment of Matthew Quintus as assistant principal at Davies High School. He will assume the position for the 2025-26 school year on July 1 from Sean Safranski who will become principal at Davies.

Matthew Quintus has served as assistant principal and activities coordinator at Ben Franklin Middle School since 2022. He is returning to Davies High School where he was previously a physical science and chemistry teacher from 2013-2021.

Quintus began his educational career as a science teacher at Stanley High School in Stanley, N.D. from 2011-13. He taught physical science, chemistry, and physics at Stanley. He was an assistant football coach, assistant basketball coach, and head boys track coach at both Stanley and Davies.

Quintus holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education: Science Composite from Dickinson State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University. He holds a Secondary Principal Certificate and a Secondary Education Certificate.
