Jami Poindexter - President

My name is Jami Poindexter. I am a 36 year old mother of 3 and do my best to stay as active in their education and extra curriculars as I can. I am also president of Caney Creek NJROTC Booster Club and look forward to adding San Jacinto Elementary PTO President to the list. We have lived in this area for 5 years. My son has been with SJE since kindergarten and I'm excited to get to work with everyone in
and out of the school. Have a great year!!

Emily Lohrentz - Vice President

Hi, I'm Emily Lohrentz . I am your new Vice President. I recently moved from Wisconsin to Texas last year with my husband and our three daughters. I love spending quality time with my family, and one of my favorite hobbies is painting reborns. It's a creative and relaxing activity that I truly enjoy.

Courtney Rodriguez - Secretary

Hi! My name is Courtney. This will be my 3rd year volunteering and my second year as your PTO secretary! My oldest, Andie, has been at San Jacinto since 1st grade and is entering 4th grade and my youngest, Lorelai, is entering her first year as a sun in kindergarten. We have been in Conroe for about 6 years, I am originally from Alabama but have been in Texas 16 years. I am a photographer, and I pickle all kinds of yummy snacks in my free time.

Danielle Hernandez - Parliamentarian

Hey, I’m Danielle, and I'm thrilled to join the PTO board this year as your parliamentarian. I have a son in kinder and I am a paraprofessional at our school. I love an iced cold Coca Cola and hanging with my boys.

Ivonne Gomez - Treasurer

Hello my name is Ivonne Gomez, your new 2024 -2025 Treasurer. I come with 10 + years of banking experience in hopes to be an asset to this organization. I am married with a large family and have an adorable niece and nephew who attend SJE and I call my own. Looking forward to an exciting first year!

Lea Ann Fugate - Communications

I'm Lea Ann Fugate and I’m excited to hold the Communications position with the PTO! I am a grandmother of two San Jac Suns. I have experienced firsthand how important it is to partner with the school in order to help their educational growth and development. I’m looking forward to working with all of our students, teachers, staff and each of you that want to make a difference.

About PTO

We are a volunteer organization whose mission is to support the teachers and staff at the San Jacinto Elementary School and to ensure our students have all the things they need during the school year to maximize their education experience. We dedicate ourselves to creating opportunities for our children and encouraging interactions between students, parents, faculty and the community.

We encourage all parents and SJE staff to join us. Please contact us at 281-465-7700 or reach out to us on Facebook, email, or remind, and any of the PTO Board Members can assist you.

Signing up to be a PTO member is the best way to get involved with your child's school life! By becoming a paid member you'll recieve information directly from the PTO on upcoming events, important dates, and ways to get involved! Speaking of getting involved, being a member does not mean you will be forced to volunteer. It simply means you are making a monetary donation to future events for the students and you will get information directly from the PTO. Please do not let the fear of volunteering stop you from becoming a member. You can fill out the form below and submit payment online via PayPal or send payment with your child to school. Details on submitting payment online are outlined in the form. If you would like to volunteer and not be a paid member you can absolutely do so! Contact us for volunteer opportunities!

Also, to volunteer at any CISD campus you MUST complete the CISD Volunteer form found at https://apps.conroeisd.net/volunteer/
