Introducing AMHS Senior Advisors: Ms. Barker and Mr. Mitchell
We’re excited to welcome Ms. Barker and Mr. Mitchell as our dedicated Senior Advisors at Arabia Mountain High School. As part of the district's Secondary Push Plan, which focuses on Enhancing College Readiness, Ms. Barker and Mr. Mitchell are here to support our seniors through the college application and scholarship search process.
Ms. Barker and Mr. Mitchell will be working closely with small, assigned groups of senior students, guiding them through the steps of applying to colleges, preparing for admissions requirements, and identifying scholarship opportunities that align with their goals and achievements. Through individualized meetings, our advisors will provide resources, insights, and personal guidance to ensure every senior is equipped with the tools and information they need to navigate this critical stage in their academic journey.
Their expertise and commitment to college readiness reflect our school’s ongoing mission of “EXCELLENCE is not an act, BUT a HABIT.” Let’s give a warm welcome to Ms. Barker and Mr. Mitchell as they join us in helping our seniors Blast Beyond Expectations toward their future endeavors!

AMHS Spirit Shirt Sale
On the last Friday of each month, AMHS students earn a Spirit Day when they are able to follow school rules; for example get to class on time, dress in the AMHS Uniform, pick up after themselves in the cafeteria, etc.. Spirit Days are a privilege and not a right. Students can wear black or blue jeans (no holes, rips or tears and no sweatpants or leggings) with a Spirit Shirt to school on Spirit Days. In an effort to promote school spirit and have more students participate in our Spirit Days, we will be selling Spirit Shirts during lunches this week. Parents are welcome to purchase shirts as well. The cost of each shirt is $20 and payments can be made in cash only. Students who choose not to wear a Spirit Shirt with school appropriate jeans should wear their school uniform to school.
