Important Dates in December
Holiday Concert
As the calendar indicates, Everton's Holiday Concert is on Monday, December 9th. Our Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students will be performing. The concert will be at the R. E. Wise Auditorium at Connersville High School. Everton students will be joined by students from Eastview for the concert. The concert will begin immediately at 6:30. Along with the concert, you will be able to see the amazing art work our students have completed with Mrs. Burton.
Cookies and Cocoa with Santa
Everton PTO is sponsoring Cookies and Cocoa with Santa on Thursday, December 5th. Come spend some time with Santa!
A Little December Fun!
Quite often the weather gets cold and our students must stay inside for recess during December. We thought it would be fun to have some special dress days as we did last year. Please click on the file below to access the dress for each day.
Everton Giving Tree
Please consider adding to the giving tree for Everton students.
New State Attendance Requirements
Please read through the flier that points out the new Indiana attendance requirements.
ILEARN Checkpoint Assessments
The Indiana Department of Education is piloting a new system of testing with ILEARN. The elementary schools in the Fayette County School Corporation are participating in the pilot. This is for students in grades 3-6. Students will be given a short math and ELA test three times on specific essential standards before taking the summative ILEARN. This will provide teachers, students, and parents information on standards students are mastering and standards that may require additional support prior to taking the summative ILEARN. Below is more information on the ILEARN Checkpoints.
