Region 17 ESC Accountability and Compliance Training Update
As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the following previously scheduled training sessions have been adjusted to a zoom meeting format.
ESSA Campus/ District Improvement Plans Training (via ZOOM)
Wednesday, April 22, 2020
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Description: This online training will focus on the federal and state requirements to complete a campus and/ or district improvement plans for Title I campuses/ districts. The training focuses on a process where you will use your district or campus strengths/ weaknesses and solve the problems that are identified. There will be a focus on meeting the requirements of ESSA for improvement planning for the 2020-2021 school year.

If you are unable to attend the zoom meeting on the specified day, this meeting will be recorded for viewing at a later date. The recorded link will be included on our next SMORE.

The 2020 Census will determine congressional representation, inform hundreds of billions in federal funding every year, and provide data that will impact communities for the next decade!

SRSA Update
SRSA Application - Due Date April 17, 2020 - All ACE districts have been contacted and applications have been submitted. If you are not an ACE district and need assistance with this grant submission, please don't hesitate to call one of us. (see contact info below)
Equity Update
Those of you required to submit an Equity Plan for 2019/20, the deadline has been extended to July 1, 2020.
