Rowland High School
Raider Review - End of School Year
Message from Principal Brunyer
Thank You Raiders!
As I presided over my final graduation ceremony with the Class of 2024 in the Thomas Aney Stadium, I reflected on my time at Rowland High School as a student, teacher, and principal. In each of these roles, or phases of life, Rowland High School has been the setting for my growth and learning. I am grateful for the opportunity that was afforded to me to lead this awesome school and am thankful to the Rowland staff and community for your trust and respect you have shown me.
Over the past 15-years I have directly supported around 7,500 Raiders earn their diplomas and launch into life for the next challenge that lies in their path. I am proud of the quality and character of the graduates from Rowland High School which take with them the foundational skills needed for their next endeavor.
This is a thank you, not a goodbye. As the new Director of Career & Technical Education in our district, I will still be working for our community and to provide students with opportunities for their futures and support our staff in ways to make that happen. As an alumni and past Principal, I plan to continue my support of our school and participation with the Rowland High School Raider Education Foundation.
With Gratitude,
Mitchell Brunyer

Micah is also a talented athlete, having competed in Track and Field for three years and Cross Country for four years. He holds the esteemed position of co-captain of the Cross Country Team since 2022. Micah channels his creativity into photography and videography, capturing moments from track and field, cross country, and varsity basketball events.
Furthermore, he is deeply involved in his church, where he serves as the head of a youth welcome team, student leadership, and as a crew leader for the Vacation Bible School.
Looking toward the future, Micah has his sights set on attending UC Santa Barbara to study statistics and data science. His ultimate goal is to leverage his data science degree to build a successful career and eventually open a bakery or a coffee shop.
As we say goodbye to 11 esteemed teachers, we honor their combined dedication of 333 years to shaping the minds and hearts of Rowland High School students. Their passion, wisdom, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our school community. Every lesson taught, encouraging word spoken, and countless hours invested in nurturing young minds reflect their profound influence on generations of learners. As they begin new journeys, their legacy of excellence will continue to inspire more generations to become thinkers, communicators, and contributors. We express our deepest gratitude for their tireless efforts and wish them the very best in their retirement.
