Acacia School
Weekly Update
September 22, 2024
Good Evening Acacia Families,
Thank you for a great week! Fall conferences are this week. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is a full conference day, so students do not attend school that day. During conferences, teachers will discuss your child’s progress thus far. This is also a time to discuss GATE screening for students in 3rd-6th grade. If you are interested in the screening process for your child, please discuss this with your child’s teacher during your conference. Family Picnic is this Friday from 11:30-12:25. We welcome all families to join their students for lunch. Please look for information from your child's teacher on specifics about where to meet, etc. If you would like to check your child out prior to 12:30 dismissal, you must check your child out through the office.

Safety
Safety is our number one priority at Acacia. We are asking all of our families and students to only use our designated entrance and exit gates for arrival and dismissal from school. The designated entrance and exit gates include the main Dorothy gate near the Kindergarten playground, and the gates that open to the parking lot. Please do not use our emergency gates that open to the field. We appreciate your support as we strive to keep our students safe.
