We have two soccer games this week. The first one is on Tuesday and the second one is on Friday. Both games are here at Edgewood and they will begin at 3:45. There will also be soccer practice held on Tuesday until 4:30.

On Tuesday, September 10th Mrs. Smith will be running at Title 1 Parent meeting at 10:00 in the cafeteria. Please feel free to join us.

On Wednesday, September 11th we have an Early Release Day. All students will be dismissed at 12:00. Please make sure you have arrangements made.

On Thursday, September 12th all candy money is due! Please make sure to get that turned in. As a reminder, we do not take candy bars back!

If there are any changes to your dismissal plan, please make sure all calls are made prior to 2:00. It is very hard to ensure that messages will be delivered after 2:00. Thank you for your understanding!

Reminders:

**If you have a new phone number or address, please make sure to let our office know as soon as possible. It is imperative that we are able to reach you in case of any emergency. Thank you so much!

**Drop off/Pickup If you are dropping your child off late, or picking them up early, please make sure you are not parking in the fire lane at the front of the building. This area is reserved for busses, and for emergency vehicles. Thank you!

**If you are changing your child's dismissal plan, please make sure all phone calls and messages are made prior to 2:00. It is very hard to ensure messages are getting received after 2:00.

**If you are dropping your child off in the morning, please know that our doors do not open until 8:25. All parent drop-offs must be done at Door B. Our front entrance is reserved for busses.

**Birthday Celebrations: As a reminder, birthday treats from outside stores are not permitted. ***Volunteers/Pop-Ins: We love having volunteers! Please make sure if you would like to volunteer, a background check must be on file. The form can be found here. Also, if you would like to "pop-in" on your student, the teacher must have a 24-hour notice. Thank you!

Co-Ed Soccer begins this week. Practice will be every Tuesday/Thursday until 4:30. An activity bus is available after practice for your child as long as they are signed up for it. Immunizations need to be up to date by 9/15/24, if your child's appointment falls after that date, please contact nurse with appointment date. Religious or medical exemption forms are also due by that date. Thank you!

Dental form are due by 9/13/24 if you wish your child to be seen by the mobile dentist. Dentist will return in 6 months, you will not need to fill out a second form if your child is seen on 9/25/24, they will automatically be signed up for next visit.

Reminder to kindergarten parents that proof of lead level is needed, please contact your physician to see if this has been completed and get a copy for the school. If it has not been completed, please make an appointment at health department or physician to have this done.

This Tuesday, September 3rd at 5:00 is our 1st ESA meeting. Please join us for our first meeting!
