Love and Logic Parenting Classes will be offered during the Spring semester of 2025. Details are listed in the chart below. Katy ISD families from any campus may register to attend. Details will also be posted on the Professional Learning website. Families who wish to participate in Love and Logic courses may pay $10 for the cost of the workbook with cash, check, or with the Pay ‘N Go system. Love and Logic Facilitators will arrange for parents to pick up materials. A minimum of 10 participants is required for each session.
Campus Device Procedures
Devices will be distributed to students within the first 10 days of school. All students in grades 3-5 will be provided a device with cover and a charger.
Students are expected to bring their Chromebook and charger to school. Students should also routinely charge their Chromebooks each night in preparation for the following day. However, should a student’s Chromebook require temporary battery charging while at school, the campus will have limited chargers available to students.
Students will continue to learn and engage in their schoolwork through a variety of modes, including hands-on experiences in the classroom, paper/pencil tasks, and digital-based activities.
If devices are left at home, the campus will not be accepting deliveries of devices by parents. Students will need to get in the habit of bringing the devices to school charged each day. Classroom teachers will work with students on building this routine.
Stanley Elementary Campus Information Guide
Parents may have many questions regarding school procedures. Please read the Stanley Elementary Campus Information Guide so you are aware of the most common questions/information parents need to know. There are a few changes to be aware of:
Birthday Treats - Students/parents will no longer bring birthday treats to school to share with the class. Teachers will recognize student birthdays in the classroom and they will receive a small gift from administration.

A note from Nurse Brown
A few important things to please remember throughout the school year:
Please make sure that your students' immunizations and immunization record is up to date. Feel free to forward any updated records to me at april-dawnsbrown@katyisd.org
If you have medications and supplies to drop off in the clinic, please make sure that all forms are signed by yourself and the doctor.
I encourage all of our students, regardless of grade, to have an extra set of clothing in their backpack. We are limited in clothing and sizes in the clinic. It can make students feel more comfortable if they have their own clothing if they need it.
Just as a quick reminder- Students who have a fever (over 100 F), vomiting and/or diarrhea will be sent home and excluded from school. They may return when they have gone 24 hours with no symptoms (fever, diarrhea, vomiting) and without the aid of medication to reduce fever or other symptoms. It is good practice to keep students' home from school who are experiencing the symptoms above.
If you have any concerns, updates or questions about your student's health, please do not hesitate to call.
Thank you so much for all of your support
