Council Rock Education Week

Dear Parent:

The faculty of Hillcrest Elementary School would like you to join us in observing Council Rock Education Week on January 21st, 22nd, 23rd, & 24th. Although parents are always welcomed visitors to our school, we especially enjoy seeing you during the week set aside as a time to see our classrooms in operation.

EVERYONE who plans on attending any classroom/ grade level activities during CR ED WEEK MUST PRE-REGISTER WITH YOUR CHILD'S HOMEROOM TEACHER. A REGISTRATION LINK was sent out from each homeroom teacher early this week. If you plan to attend PLEASE complete the form. Once we receive your information, we will be able to prepare badges for you in advance if you are in the RAPTOR system.

If you have never visited HCE, please ARRIVE EARLY & bring your driver's license as you will be entered into our visitor's database at that time. This includes relatives that might be joining parents during this time. ALL VISITORS MUST BE ENTERED INTO OUR DATABASE, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY AND ALLOW AMPLE TIME FOR SIGN-IN.

TO AVOID LONG LINES, STOP BY HCE NEXT WEEK TO UPLOAD YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE IN ADVANCE

Monday, January 20, 2025: No School

In order to allow the learning process of each child to continue, and to maintain the daily school procedures, we request that you observe the following guidelines:

⭐ PRE-REGISTER with your child's homeroom teacher.

⭐ Visitors may ONLY visit the class in which their child is a student. Parents are not permitted to visit other areas within the building during their visit.

⭐ Please silence your cell phones before visiting a classroom. Due to publicity exclusions of certain children, Photographs/Videos of other children are prohibited.

⭐ Each classroom will have chairs for you to sit and observe the teaching/learning process.

⭐ Unless invited by a teacher to participate in what the class is doing, please limit your visit to observing the process.

⭐ Pre-school/older siblings SHOULD NOT be brought to school during classroom observation.

⭐Remember, this is a time to observe the educational process, not to discuss your child’s performance with the teacher. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress; please make an appointment for a conference.

⭐ Due to spatial concerns, parents may not attend lunches or recess.

⭐ Please DO NOT PARK between Holland Middle School and Hillcrest.
