Our students and families have loads of fun each year at the Fall Festival. Wristband sales for student participants are on sale now. A purple order form is in the Tuesday folder today. There will be sales at the door as well.

Send in your coins (or dollars) and vote for your favorite pumpkin! You may even want to vote for a few! School voting will end on Thursday afternoon. These beautiful creations will be up for auction on Friday night at the festival!

Sketch the front of Colbert Elementary School and enter into our contest! The winning design will be printed and posted in the lobby and will serve as the image on school correspondence.

Each week during the last week of October, we honor Red Ribbon Week, in which we encourage students to choose a drug free lifestyle as they grow. To help us teach these concepts, we will have fun dress-up days to help students relate to the message. We will end the week with Book Character Dress Up Day on Friday, November 1. Students and teachers always look forward to this day! Get creative and use items/clothing from your house to help your child create a fun book character costume.

All parents of ESOL students are invited to attend our annual ESOL night on Tuesday, November 5 at 6:00. This will be here at Colbert Elementary School. We always have a great time together and hope to see you there!

We would love your photos and your attendance. Please see the specifics below.

As the weather gets cooler, please add your child's name to everything that they may take off or leave behind during the day. This includes coats, jackets, hoodies, water bottles, etc. With over 400 kids in the building, it is difficult to determine which lost items belong to students. When students' names are labeled on items, we can easily return the item to its owner.

If your child was absent on Picture Day (Thursday, September 26) or needs retakes for any reason, we will have retakes on Wednesday, November 13.
