News from Principal Schwartz
Dear CTE Families:
WELCOME BACK! I hope you all had some wonderful moments during winter break surrounded by loved ones. It brought us all so much joy seeing the student smiles last Thursday ready to be back at school!
A few welcome back reminders:
Students go outside unless it is -10 degrees below zero (temperature or windchill). Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing to go outside. If you need winter weather donations we are happy to help. Reach out to your child’s teacher or Jen Schwartz.
Our attendance percentage dipped down a bit in December with all the illness going around. Hopefully we will have a light illness load in January! We miss your student when he/she is not here. Please try to schedule appointments outside the school day. Also, late arrivals and early releases interrupt your child's educational journey and the class as well.
Donations: If you would like to donate items to school, we are in need of hats, scarfs and gloves- all sizes. You can drop off in the office or send in with your child to drop off. Thank you!
**Family pick up and drop off safety. Please stay in your car when you are picking up your child. If your child needs additional support to buckle in, please pull up to our cul de sac area to assist your child. Thank you!
All my best,
Jen
Excited to be back!
