Welcome to March! I hope your February Break was a nice week. We fully expected to have a tricky time readjusting to school, instead it was a smooth return. This week we had music for the Special and it was lovely to hear students learning how to play different musical tools. I had a lovely time travelling to Concord to visit the Statehouse with the 4th and 5th graders. They were wonderful and asked some really interesting questions. The tour guide tried to stump them with questions about our state. He couldn't come up with questions they didn't know the answer to except for the state mineral which is beryl. Who knew? Well done Mrs. Quinn and the 4th and 5th graders!

Next week is a very important week as March 11th is the District Voting Day. There could be significant impacts upon our school depending upon the outcome of the votes. A message from Pam Murphy, RN DCS School Nurse

Recently, there have been numerous student requests for cough drops. As cough drops are considered medication, I am asking for your help in following the ConVal policy on medication administration at the elementary level. To do this, any medication, including cough drops, must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian or their designated responsible adult in the original container. A written permission form is also required which is available at DCS.
