TIGER TIMES

NOTES FROM YOUR PRINCIPALS
Dear Titus Family,
What an amazing week it has been! From the excitement of Bingo Night to the vibrant energy of our Book Fair, there has been so much joy and connection. I wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to our vibrant Home and School Association and to everyone who participated and made both events such a success. The spirit of fun and learning was truly contagious!
Today, we are also celebrating World Down Syndrome Day by wearing mismatched socks as a symbol of inclusion and acceptance. Itโs a beautiful reminder of how we can all embrace our differences and support one another in creating a more inclusive world.
This week has been a testament to the heart and soul of our Titus community. From the laughter and excitement at our events to the meaningful moments of support, I am forever proud to be part of such an incredible school family.
Warmly,
Your Proud Principal
Mrs. Helen Sclama Zaleski
Hi Titus Community โ
I am sitting here reflecting on the week after an incredible night of Bingo! While my two sons were really bummed because they did not win any BINGO games or the Phillies raffle basket, they shared with me that they still had a blast! This is because of the strong school community that we have. Thank you so much to our HSA and everyone who contributed to an awesome event.
It was another great week to be a Tiger. One of my highlights was seeing our 5th grade PEN students in action as they work through their law unit. The conversations these students have are incredible and they are led by our tremendous PEN teacher, Mrs. Carla Walls. These students are focusing on โpreponderance of evidence.โ I thought I was in a college classroom when I heard those words. These kiddos are going to be ready for Harvard Law School in no time!
A special thank you to our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Paine. She has worked so hard in organizing our book fair and getting everything set up so our students can enjoy new books. We even had our first Paws for Pride winner choose from our new โbook vending machine.โ Canโt wait to see all our winners use this thing!
Have a great weekend!
Your Proud Assistant Principal,
Mr. Dave Filson

TITUS SCHOOL DAY
SCHOOL HOURS REMINDER
We are an "A" or early school, and our hours are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM.
The morning kindergarten session hours are 8:35 AM to 11:10 AM.
The afternoon kindergarten session will run from 12:40 PM to 3:15PM.
START OF THE SCHOOL DAY ...
Please be aware that the school day begins at 8:35 AM in your child(ren)'s classroom(s). If you are a car rider in the morning, it is recommended that children are dropped off no later than 8:30 AM in order to get to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. If a student arrives in their classroom beyond 8:35 AM, they are considered tardy. Parents will need to come into the building to sign their child in if they arrive after 8:35 AM.
The adults supervising the car-rider drop-off line will be on duty until 8:32 AM. Students dropped off after 8:32 AM will more than likely not be able to make it to their classrooms on time for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. Also, for safety reasons, students arriving to school prior to 8:15 AM, need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver. We ask that all students wait with their family member in the drop off line until 8:15 AM.

Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition
Join Us for "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition" on March 25 at Lenape
Are you watching kids become too accustomed to using technology at too young an age? The result is "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition." On Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Lenape Middle School auditorium, parents, guardians, and caregivers are invited to a screening of the film, which will kick off a CBSD series on digital wellness. VOLUNTEERS
DON'T FORGET CLEARANCES ...
Titus will expect all potential volunteers to complete their paperwork for clearances prior to assuming any volunteer/chaperone role within the school. This will ensure we are in line with district and state expectations.
Who Needs Clearances: An individual who is responsible for the child's welfare or has direct contact with children. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children to obtain background checks and clearances. In the best interest of the safety and security of our students, Central Bucks School District required the submission of these clearances prior to volunteering during the school year. Approved volunteers are given an identification card to be presented at the school (along with your photo ID, such as a driver's license) when volunteering. Please allow 7-10 days after you have submitted your online application for receipt of the ID card.
Additional information and steps on how to complete your clearances can be found on our district website by clicking here.
