Our theme this year at CSE is "EXCELLENCE"

Your child is going to have an excellent year! If you have any needs or questions, please call the office 903-881-4350 or come see us.

On the first day of school only, parents may walk their child to the gym or cafeteria. First graders go to the gym and 2nd & 3rd graders go to the cafeteria. Please drop your child off at the gym or cafeteria door, say your goodbyes and exit quickly to help with any separation anxiety. Starting the second day, parents can drop off students under the front awning or drop off in the car line.

Beginning of the year tip:

Your student may come home more tired than usual. This is normal! In time, they will adjust to their new schedule and the demands of school. I want to encourage you to cheer on your child! A routine of an early bedtime and a healthy breakfast gives your child the stamina they need for a great day. Our doors open at 7:25 and all students are welcome to eat breakfast at school. See the price chart below for the cost of breakfast and lunch at lunch.

LISD has a different release schedule for the first day of school to help with traffic issues. CSE's release times for the first day only are below. See the flyer below for all campus release times.

1st and 2nd grade Car Riders 2:00

3rd grade Car Riders 2:15

Bus Riders 2:50

VERY IMPORTANT

• BE SURE you have your car tag with you! Teachers gave these out at meet the teacher. If you need more, let your teacher know or let the office know. These must be visible in your car at all times during the car line.
• See the traffic pattern map below for drop off and pick up procedures.

1. Our car line is a phone-free zone by law. No texting or calling.
2. Have your car tag visible the whole time during car line.
3. If you do not have your car tag, please park and bring your driver's license to the office.
4. Do not get out of your car during car line. This is for safety and to keep the line flowing.
