STUART GIBBS AUTHOR VISIT 2/27

The fantastic Stuart Gibbs is coming to Austin to present at Gullett & Brentwood on the 27th before heading up to Dallas for the North Texas Teen Book Festival. We are beyond excited to be able to host one of our all-time favorite middle grade authors!

Stuart will be doing two presentations in the Gullett Library that morning and will then be sticking around to sign books. Here is the schedule:

• 8:30 - 5th Grade
• 9:30 - 3rd & 4th Grades
• 10:15 - Book signing

Stuart Gibbs has written a number of fantastic adventure/mystery series and I highly recommend ALL of them, but sales for this event will focus on Spy School and Once Upon a Tim.

Orders will be going through BookPeople. Please make sure to follow ALL of their instructions when ordering so that books get sent to the right school and we know your child's name for the book signing. THAT MEANS YOU MUST FILL OUT THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THE ORDER FORM.

(ORDERS PLACED AFTER 2/13 MIGHT NOT ARRIVE BY DAY OF THE EVENT. IF THAT IS THE CASE, STUART WILL SIGN BOOK PLATES TO BE PLACED IN THE BOOK WHEN WE GET IT.)

• Place a post it on the cover of each book
• Include the following info on each post it:
• Child’s name (only the first name will be used by the author unless you indicate otherwise)
• Grade
• Teacher
• Place all books in a bag with your child’s name on the outside
• If you have multiple children, you can place all books in the same bag. They will be delivered to the child whose name is on the bag.
• Give to Mr. Temple by Monday, 2/24.
