The Georgia Parent Survey is designed to give parents an opportunity to share input with the Georgia Department of Education. It contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using a personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. Parents that do not have access to the internet should contact their child’s school to arrange to complete the survey at the school. The data parents provide by completing this survey will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Individual data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to system or school personnel or the public and will not be posted online.

For those of you who like to plan ahead, the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school year calendars are now available on the school district's website. Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) has adopted school calendars for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. The purpose of the FY2025 Budget Development Survey is to inform decisions around funding priorities for the 2024-2025 school year with a focus on identifying programs that must be sustained after COVID-19 stimulus funds (ESSER) end in September 2024. The survey is available in multiple languages and consists of four short questions. The FY2025 Budget Development Survey is open through December 11, 2023.

Camp Creek ES Student Council is partnering with Parkview MCJROTC to collect toys for Toys for Tots.

Founded in 1947, Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

To date, Toys for Tots has distributed 652 million toys to 291 million deserving children.

Bring a NEW, UNWRAPPED TOY to donate between NOVEMBER 27 and DECEMBER 13.

There will be designated TOYS FOR TOTS collection boxes located at the car rider entry and outside the Camp Creek ES Front Office.

We are seeking English-speaking Camp Creek parents interested in volunteering ONE hour a week for one-on-one conversation support for Camp Creek parents enrolled in our Spring Semester Adult English class. Our Cubs earn Cubby Cash for following “PAWS” at school.

Cubby Cash is awarded when students are: Practicing Good Manners, Actively Participating, Working Together, and Showing Self Control.

Cubs then get to spend their Cubby Cash at the Cubby Cash Store each month!

Paper Dolls

Each student received a paper doll with instructions in their Friday folder for you to start having fun!

These paper dolls will be showcased throughout the school during Winter Break and will help us get excited about our upcoming International Night Celebration on Monday January 22, 2024.

Please decorate your dolls using crayons, markers, fabric, glue, glitter, string, etc. to represent your country or region of origin.

Be creative and have fun!

Please cut the dolls out on the black line and turn them into your teacher or the Camp Creek ES front office no later than Friday December 15, 2023.
