UPCOMING FOR SOPHOMORE MT
Current Sophomore Curriculum
ACTING AND VOCAL:
The sophomores just completed their final master class of the year, exploring the works of Cole Porter and implementing motivated stage crosses into the performances. The students demonstrated beautiful adaptability and bravery as I coached each one of them through a vocal challenge (which they should continue to tackle at home through regular practice and experimentation).
Today we analyzed the feedback we received from our peers to look for trends and identify our greatest ares of need as we plan for future solos.
We are about to start our end-of-year Demonstrations preparations and are currently in the process of identifying the group's strengths and challenges so we can choose an ensemble number that will best honor and feature the group. The next steps will be to research, listen to, debate about and vote on our group ensemble piece for the year.
