HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION

We will register 8th graders for high school classes in November. Everyone registers for their HOME school. If you plan to open enroll, please apply as soon as open enrollment registration opens and they will transfer the files to that school if your student is accepted!

Open Enrollment is November 1st, 2024 at 8am

Open Enrollment is coming up soon for students planning to NOT attend their DVUSD Home High School, are out of area, or are out of district based on their home address. Open enrollment begins on November 1st @ 8am. This is a first come first serve for all Deer Valley High Schools, making it very important for students and guardians to be online by 8am for open enrollment registration if they fall into one of the mentioned categories. Students planning on attending their Home High Schools in the Deer Valley Unified School District do not need to complete open enrollment, as they will complete their enrollment in class.

What is CTE?

CTE is Career and Technical Education. Watch the student created video explaining how you can build a competitive advantage in high school!

We will be using free videos and reflective activities from the Competitive Advantage Track to strengthen academic knowledge, technical competencies and professional skills.

Health/PE - More information will be provided via QR Code and Google Form for parents to complete and enroll students at Aspire to take Health and/or PE courses over the summer. Each course separate costs $200, and $400 combined.

Math- Accelerated math courses are available through Barry Goldwater HS through Pathways. This is a full credit of math (Algebra 1-2H, Geometry 1-2H, or Algebra 3-4H) in six weeks and costs $400. Generally, more information will be provided following spring break.
