Student Perception Survey Information
Dear Parents, Guardians, and High School Students,
Naperville 203 is committed to educating the whole child by offering comprehensive social-emotional learning opportunities and fostering school communities that prioritize equity and inclusion. As part of this commitment, we regularly seek student feedback on the climate and culture within our schools.
Between November 4th and November 15th, students in Grades 3-12 will participate in the 15-20 minute Student Perception Survey during the school day.
The survey will include questions related to safety, school climate, teacher-student relationships, and sense of belonging. Additionally, students in Grades 6-12 will answer questions regarding rigorous expectations, cultural awareness, and diversity and inclusion.
You can preview the survey questions for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-12 by clicking the provided links.
Students will use their ID numbers to access the survey. As with all District assessments, student data will remain confidential and will only be accessible to administrators and school staff who directly support that student in reviewing feedback on school climate and culture.
This survey is a formative tool that helps us celebrate successes and identify areas for improvement in creating a positive learning environment for every student. If you would like to opt your student(s) out of participating in this survey, please complete the Student Perception Survey Opt-Out form by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The opt-out form is available in Spanish and Mandarin.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to build welcoming and inclusive learning environments for all students.
