Dear St. Michael the Archangel families,
What a wonderful week at St. Michael the Archangel! Thank you to our 2nd grade students, teachers, and parents for an exciting Marketplace project! The “companies” did a fantastic job of planning, preparing, making, marketing, and selling their goods. They learned so much during the project, and we know that Catholic Charities will be excited to accept the donation from their profits.
Thank you for the love on Wednesday, Principals’ Day! Our students and staff showered us with heartfelt cards, yummy treats, and well wishes, and it made our day. Mr. Huber and I are grateful for the love and kindness. We love our school community!
We have some BIG events coming up this week!
Tuesday, May 7 is our 2nd Annual Leadership Retreat for our 6th and 7th graders. All 6th and 7th graders should be dropped off at the Lodge at Ironwoods Park at 8:00 a.m. (please drop off other siblings at SMA first), and they should be picked up at the Lodge at 3:00 p.m. That should give families plenty of time to get to SMA for siblings by 3:20 before the gates close.
Our last All-School Mass with our 8th grade class is Wednesday morning at 8:15 a.m. We welcome everyone to join us as we send off this wonderful group of young people.
Please note that the whole school will dismiss early - at 3:00 - on May 9 to prepare for our 4:15 Graduation Mass for our 8th graders.

There are so many wonderful activities these last two weeks of school; please check classroom newsletters/emails for grade level specifics.
Field Day is Tuesday, May 14. We are in great need of parent volunteers, especially for grades 3-6. Please consider giving a couple of hours for this fun day to help it run smoothly! There is a sign-up genius link below in the newsletter. Thank you!
