Estates General is Called

For the first time in nearly 200 year the King has called the Estates General together! The king is in need of money. The third estate is suggesting that votes should not be by estate but instead they should be by the people and everyone get a vote. Immediately the first and second estates out vote them and vote us into continuing our luxurious lives. the third estate seems very displeased and decides to withdraw. they seem to have moved to the tennis courts and are now calling themselves the National Assembly.
