As we've all experienced, a dedicated teacher can have quite an impact in our lives. Of course they teach us, but they also inspire us, nurture us, guide us, and support us along the way. I am so proud of the work our teachers do at Ansel Adams in caring for all the Cubs! Perhaps this week you can reach out to previous and current teachers to let them know you appreciate them! Show your teachers the love!

Thank you to families for attending Music in Our Schools at McNair this past Thursday. Thank you to Mr. Brock and Mr. Tolentino for leading our students with music appreciation and developing singing and instrumental skills. Joining other 4th-6th graders, and middle and high school musical groups, it was quite a celebration!

Friday's Lunch on the Lawn was a vibrant example of Ansel's community, as families filled the courtyard to share a meal with their children and fellow Cubs! Thank you for supporting our first such fundraiser treat with the Menchies's froyo and for purchasing the new "Picture a World of Kindness" tshirts. I hope you had a chance to meet our No. Stockton Director, Mr. Mark Dawson! Thank you again for joining us!

I'd like to invite parents to a 40 minute meeting before school gets out on Monday with the topics of Internet Safety, School Discipline, and Title 1 Money for Next Year.

No, the practice wasn't required. Any LUSD student, gr. 4-6, can participate.
