SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUEST PROCESS

From January 17th to January 22nd, students will get access to a Microsoft Form to make schedule change requests. For those who already made a request via email, please submit your request through the schedule change request Form that will go live on the 17th.

Schedule change request will be processed in the order they are received. Please note that a submitting a request does not mean your request will be approved. Requests will only be approved if there is room in the requested course.

As has been the case in previous semesters, due to limited space in many courses, we will be using the following criteria for an approved schedule change:

Student is requesting to change the level of a class (for example going from non-honors to honors)

· · Student is requesting to switch out of a class they already passed

· · Student is requesting to switch out of class that they did not choose during last spring's course registration process

· · Student has a blank block in their schedule

Once a request has been processed, students will receive an email letting them know the requested change has been made or is not able to be made.

NHS Prom will be held on April 26, 2025 at Jacksonville Country Club from 7:00pm - 11:00pm.

Special Deal: Seniors who purchase their ticket first semester will be entered into a raffle for 2 free tickets to the senior grad trip.

Ticket Information:

Price $60 1st Semester Only; $75 2nd Semester. Any Junior or Senior at NHS is eligible to attend.

Non NHS or underclassmen guests must be invited by a junior or senior and get an application in the front office.

Attire must be formal.

Congratulations to Isabella Romero! Her artwork was selected as one of seven pieces from the county to be professionally printed and gifted to an OCS Board of Education member. She created this impressive piece for a Pop Art project in her Beginning Art Class

The National Honors Society Students spent a day ringing bells to raise money for the Salvation Army over winter break. We raised $450 to support an amazing community organization.
