The Family Rosary On The Feast Of The Assumption For The Intention Of The Upcoming School Year
The All School Rosary On Saturday Night Started Our School Year On A Positive Note Asking Mary To Pray For Us In The 2020-2021 School Year
Mrs. Marvin's Corner
The 2020-2021 School Year started and the students and faculty were excited to be here and quickly acclimated to the new social distancing practices. Many teachers took advantage of the nice weather to have class outside so that students were able to take a mask break while remaining 6 feet apart. Students were also creatively coming up with playground games that would require social distancing but would provide social interaction with others. Our biggest concern was students adjustment to the wearing of masks but quickly found out that the students were troopers and did a fantastic job keeping them in place.
A few reminders, water bottles are encouraged to be brought to school so your children would be hydrated throughout the day. When students are wearing masks they tend to forget to drink water as often and may become dehydrated.
A clarification on Monday and Tuesday Gym classes. Students are encouraged to wear their uniform clothes for gym including tennis shoes. We will not be changing in the locker rooms and Mr. Burgett said if the weather is nice they will be outside.
We are in need of additional toys for extended day since students are working in small groups of 2 or individually. individual child activities would be great if you have anything at home your children have lost interest in.
Friday is Spirit Day! Wear your spirit wear tops to school on Friday. New student and staff sizes were taken today and shirts will be ordered for students next week.
