Hello Wonderful Bobcat Community,
Tonight is our annual Family Fun Night starting at 4:30, Art Show opens at 5:30 and our Open House event from 6-7 pm! Please join us to celebrate all of the hard work of our students here at Santa Rita, along with the successful close of another school year. Our classrooms will be open for you to visit to see all of the wonderful work your children have done this year! Your first stop should be your child’s classroom and then after that, feel free to visit others.
Tonight is Family Fun, Art Show and Open House!

5:30-7:00 Art Show in the Multi
6:00-7:00 Classrooms are open for Open House
Tomorrow is a Minimum Day - Dismissal 12:15 and no school Monday the 27th.

Wednesday, is Science Olympiad for 4th -6th graders. We are still in need of many volunteers to make this event happen!! Please sign up now. 2024 Science Olympiad Volunteer Sheet
Friday is Field Day, students should be sure to wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.
Finally, if you are NOT coming back to Santa Rita next year, please let the office know as soon as possible.

Pick up Student Medication by June 5
A reminder that if your child has medications/health supplies at school that must be picked up by June 5 from the front office.
We cannot store medications over the summer. If you are leaving before school ends, please pick up medications early.
An adult must pick up medication.
Santa Rita's Annual Science Olympiad- Volunteers Needed!
Calling all Bobcats and Alums! Mark your calendars! Santa Rita’s Annual Science Olympiad is on Wednesday, May 29!
This special event brings students together to use scientific concepts to tackle real-world problems. Participants learn the practical applications of science and the scientific method in a series of fun, collaborative challenges.
This year's events are Aerodynamics, Copy Cats, Cranium, Marshmallow Challenge, Super Straw Structures, Clay Boats, Memory Lane, and Code Breakers.
To make this a fun day for our 4-6th-grade Bobcats and teachers, we need your help! Grab a few friends, join the fun! This is a community event unique to Santa Rita, and an annual tradition!

CENG Free Online Summer Coding Classes: Registration Now Open!
Join us to unlock the power of coding! The Computer Engineers of the Next Generation (CENG) Team proudly presents three engaging sessions of weeklong online coding classes in June and July 2024. Classes are scheduled from 4:15 to 5:45 pm PST, offering an exciting curriculum covering Scratch, JavaScript, Python, Web Design, and Roblox.
Tailored for 3rd to 8th-grade students, our classes cater to beginners, intermediates, and advanced learners. Led by proficient high school students, participants will delve into the fundamentals of coding, culminating in a final game project.

Los Altos Bike Events!
Family Bike Day: May 25
Free Guided Bike Rides during the Family Bike Day, May 25, 9 am – 3 pm.
The group bike ride will show participants how to navigate their neighborhood streets, including safe street crossing and some secret cut-throughs. Participants will also review the rules of the road and practice some bike skills. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
