Message from Ms. Hurst, Principal
Dear Pirate Families,
This week our bell schedule shifted as we began PIRATE Time. You can learn more about PIRATE Time below. For now, PIRATE Time will be running on a fixed, set schedule until October 21. This fixed schedule will ensure that we all learn the new routines and procedures that PIRATE Time requires. It will allow us to complete some schoolwide activities, lessons, and surveys. It will also ensure that all students have extra time with their teachers to receive additional assistance and enrichment. This time is especially crucial in this shortened semester. As we begin benchmark assessments this week, PIRATE Time will be an important time during the day when teachers can reteach key standards and accelerate in areas where students are ready to move forward.
This week we will be taking underclassmen pictures on Thursday, October 3.
Don't forget that student announcements, "The Daily Pirate Post" are also shared daily on our website and social media, Bookmark this site for easy access. https://bit.ly/4g7DfFD.
Stay safe during this storm, and we will see you on Monday, Pirates!
