Heat Advisory Information:

The months of August and September are hot, and we want your children to stay cool and healthy. If there is an Excessive Heat Warning issued by the National Weather Service, our school will observe a rainy-day schedule where they will adjust activities to ensure student safety. During Excessive Heat Warnings, activities may be moved indoors or rescheduled. During an Excessive Heat Warning, parents are not typically notified as these adjustments to the school schedule may occur frequently in the early fall or late spring. We encourage students to bring refillable water bottles to school to stay hydrated.

Additional information about heat and athletics will be shared from the coach at your child’s school once school begins. Please send clear, low sugar drinks such as water for lunch and daily hydration.
