Welcome to CBC Youth

We are excited that you're going to take this risk and journey with us this year. We know that you have a bazillion other youth groups that you can choose from and still...you chose us. Well, our goal this year is to really take our faith seriously and grow as much as we can. Part of that is on us and we're trying to think through the best methods and ways to help yall get there. The other part really is on YOU. You got to buy in and show up. You got to have perseverance and endurance to push past the awkward and past the initial ugh factor.

Our prayer is that by the end of the year you're able to grow in community, in knowledge, and most importantly, in your own relationship with God.

We offer several simple programs in order to equip and engage your student for the Gospel. Our most basic and welcoming program is DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS which is opened to all students and their friends. In these Discipleship Groups which meet primarily on Sundays 2nd hour (but connect throughout the week) they have a chance to share, pray, and study together. We offer a weekly training & leadership program on Fridays called ACCESS, which is open to all who thirsts for doctrinal training and leadership development. Lastly, for those who are committed Christians and are members of our Church, our most intense form of discipleship comes within our structure of MEMBERSHIP. Our members are held to a much higher accountability of growth and discipleship and they are given more opportunities to serve, go on mission trips, and join our worship team.

Hey everyone, as you're praying through where to attend and exercise your membership for the upcoming year, I want you to pray about and consider being a part of this youth group for better or for worse. We never assume that just because you were here last year that you want to be this year and we want each and every year to be a commitment. I know many of you have graduated and moved on from the youth group but still, I want invite you to join and to serve students as you see the need.

For leaders, parents, and youth...please take a look at the application and pray through it. If the Lord leads you here, we welcome you. If you decide not to join, then i pray you find a church and community that is gospel-minded, gospel-serious, and that you bless that church and community with your gifts, talents, resources, and membership. If you need help finding a church, please let me know and I'll be sure to find you one that's awesome.
