❓What Should I Expect on the Ballot?
When it comes to the language on the voting ballot for the Argyle ISD Bond Election, here is some helpful information in this AISD podcast clip. Argyle ISD Chief Financial Officer Liz Stewart helps break it down.
Great Things Happening in Argyle ISD!
Cranes are lifting beams, dirt is moving and walls are being constructed. Argyle ISD construction projects are in full swing in two sections of the district as the community can see bond projects coming to life.
At Argyle High School in Canyon Falls, the new Argyle ISD Stadium and Indoor Activity Center are being built at the same time on the south side of the campus. Both projects in Flower Mound are well underway and are expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.
In Arygle off FM 407, the district is building the first campus in the town since Hilltop Elementary opened in 2005. The middle school is located just east of I-35 on the north side of FM 407. The middle school, which will serve grades 7-8, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2026.
All of these projects were part of the voter-approved 2022 bond proposal that was constructed by the community-led Bond & Growth Planning Committee.

🎨 AHS Junior Art Student Wins Texas Choice Award!
We are so proud to announce AHS junior Zoey Bouquio has won the Texas Choice Winner in the Congressional Art Competition for her incredible piece titled “Search Within, Finding Self.”
Zoey is a super talented art student of AHS Art Teacher Mrs. Tanya Warborg-Kosla.
As the Texas Choice winner, Zoey will have the incredible opportunity to have her artwork displayed in Congressman Gill’s district office in Flower Mound for the upcoming year—a remarkable honor and recognition of her creativity and artistic voice.
The Texas Choice award was determined by popular vote. Earlier this month, student submissions from across the district were showcased in an online gallery on Congressman Gill’s website, where friends, family, and community members voted for their favorite pieces in the virtual exhibition.
Yay Zoey!!
BOND 2025: What You Need To Know
The Argyle ISD Bond Election is May 3. Early voting starts April 22. The bond proposal was built by the community-led Bond & Growth Planning Committee and addresses student enrollment growth, campus improvements and infrastructure.
Key Facts:
- Bond does not include a tax rate increase.
- AISD is expected to exceed 11,000 students in 2034-2035 (currently 6,200 students)
- Prop A includes new construction - Middle School #2 & Elementary #6
- Prop B includes Baseball/Softball Complex at AHS in Canyon Falls (currently AHS plays at AMS, site of the future second HS)
- Reminder: the ballot language, per state law, is required to say "This is a property tax increase." State law does not allow district to change ballot language, regardless of the tax rate impact.
🎭 What An Honor! Congrats Melissa Carpenter!
We are proud to share that AHS Theatre Director Melissa Carpenter has been nominated for the 2024-2025 Betty Lynn Buckley Award for Outstanding Educator—an incredible and well-deserved honor!
Named after Fort Worth’s own Tony Award-winning actress Betty Lynn Buckley, this prestigious award recognizes high school theatre educators who make a lasting impact on students’ lives and set high standards for excellence in the arts. Educators are nominated by students, parents, or community members who witness their dedication firsthand.

During Tuesday's regular AISD School Board meeting, Trustees approved the 2025–2026 staffing plan, built through months of collaborative input from our district and campus leadership teams, teachers, and staff.
$3.2 million in positions were approved, with 92.5% directly supporting campuses, including:
