HOLY WEEK RESOURCES
Virtue Award Students
Congratulations to all of our students who received a virtue award in February or March!
Holy Thursday- 2nd Grade Feet Washing
For Holy Thursday, the 2nd grade students participated in washing each other's feet, just as Jesus did. Many thanks to Mrs. Wunderlich for creating such a powerful lesson for the students! Please click on the button below to view the pictures on the School's Facebook page.
Holy Thursday- Easter Egg Hunt
The Kindergarten class, along with their 8th grade buddies, had a Holy Thursday Easter egg hunt. The 8th grade students hid the eggs. The 8th grade students led their Kindergarten buddies around the school to find as many Easter eggs as possible. Many thanks to Ms. Villella and Ms. Cartone for planning such a fun activity for the students. Please click on the button below to view the pictures on the School's Facebook page.
Deaf Community Holy Week Mass Schedule
Father Charlies is a Nigerian Priest who does American Sign Language for the deaf community to attend Catholic Masses. He visited with first grade and the Middle School Religion classes. During his visit he taught the students how to make the sign for 'Jesus,' the alphabet, and 'I love you.' Pictures from his visit can be seen by visiting the following link: www.facebook.com/sfdslebanon
It was great experience for the students to hear his story. Many thanks to Lisa Averion for bringing Father Charles to visit our school!
Note from Lisa Averion:
Fr. Charles enjoyed his visit to St. Francis de Sales School! As you may already know, St. Francis de Sales is the Patron Saint for the Deaf. Through may hours of prayer to St. Francis de Sales to intercede and bring a priest to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for our Deaf Community they were answered. It is truly a blessing to have him in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati!
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COMMUNITY COOKBOOK
The students will be receiving the recipe cards on Monday, March 25.
The recipe cards can be turned into the school office.
All recipe cards are due back to the school office by Friday, April 12.
Many thanks in advance for participating in the Knights of Columbus Community Cookbook!
