CELEBRATIONS
Great things are happening at WCS!
This week our Student Leadership Team met for the first time as a group. In total we have a total of 16 seventh and eighth-grade students volunteering their time. They are starting to plan for several fun events that will take place this year. Stay tuned for more info!
FLU CLINIC
In partnership with Lincoln Health, influenza vaccinations will be offered to Woolwich Central School students this fall. This optional one-day flu clinic is scheduled for Friday, October 25th. If you would like to have your student receive the flu vaccine at school, we must have a consent form signed and returned to the school nurse no
later than Thursday, October 17th. CLICK HERE for more information and to access the consent form.
FALL FUN
Mrs. Harrington's class got to spend some time outside enjoying the change of the seasons. The class had fun crunching, gathering and throwing leaves in the air, while admiring the color of our favorite maple tree!
A NOTE FROM MR. LIBBY
The annual Harvest Supper is happening on Saturday, 10/19 between 4:30 - 6:30pm. Tickets are available from any WCS 8th-grader as well as at the door, the night of the event. Proceeds from this dinner support their class trip to Washington, D.C. in the spring.

Things to talk about
Our PTA Fundraiser continues on! As of today, we have reached out first fundraising goal of $5,000!!! Hitting this milestone means that Mrs. Dimbleby will be serving lunch to all students next week. Once we reach $10K in donations, Mr. Libby will spend a day working on the roof of the school (don't be late that day, right? 😬) If we reach our final goal of $15K in donations, Mr. Libby will spend the whole night at school. Where will he sleep? Where will he eat dinner? Only time will tell.
The Annual Harvest Supper is happening on Saturday, 10/19 from 4:30 - 6:30pm Tickets are available from any WCS 8th grader, and will also be on sale at the door, the night of the dinner. This event is a fundraiser for our 8th grade's trip to Washington, D.C. in the spring.
