DTSOI Enrollment: Open February 28

Enrollment at Don Tyson School of Innovation for the 2025-2026 school year opens on February 28th at 10:00AM.

Don Tyson School of Innovation is an open-enrollment, public conversion charter school within the Springdale Public Schools District offering on-site, blended, and full virtual options to students.

Our mission is to ensure every student graduates with a diploma plus through personalized and accelerated learning connected to the arts, college, business or industry. We are excited to see students in Springdale, Northwest Arkansas, and all over the state achieve beyond their high school diploma.

We embrace flexible learning opportunities, allowing for an environment that promotes student success. DTSOI focuses on accelerated learning which creates college and career opportunities for students in an innovative standards based education model.

2. Be ready for enrollment to go LIVE on February 28th @ 10AM online at soi.sdale.org
3. JOIN THE FAM

Prospective students and families may attend the Enrollment Information Night on February 13th, drop-in from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, for an opportunity to tour campus and learn more about what it means to be part of the #PhoenixFam. An information session will be held at 6:00PM in the Performing Arts Center.

Please enter through the PAC doors that evening.

The Declaration of Intent to Enroll will be live on February 28th at 10:00AM on our website: soi.sdale.org. (That's a really fancy way of saying our list opens!) Students are accepted into DTSOI on a first come, first served basis, so you want to be ready and refreshing your browser. When the Declaration of Intent to Enroll form begins accepting entries, simply complete the form with your student's information.

Accepted students will receive an email detailing how to complete the registration process. Make sure to complete every step by the deadline! Anyone failing to complete the registration process by the given deadline will forfeit their place to the next student on the list.

Students who are currently enrolled as Don Tyson School of Innovation students DO NOT have to complete the enrollment process again. Students who will be NEW TO DTSOI have to enroll. Note that siblings are not automatically enrolled and must complete the enrollment process.

Here's an example:

🟢Phineas Phoenix🟢is an 8th grade student at DTSOI this year, and his little sister, 🟣Phoebe Phoenix🟣, is a 5th grader at Shaw Elementary.

🟢Phineas DOES NOT have to enroll for the 2025-2026 school year to stay at DTSOI.

🟣Phoebe MUST COMPLETE THE WHOLE ENROLLMENT PROCESS to go to DTSOI for the 2025-2026 school year.

*AND if their cousin, 🔵Pherb Phoenix🔵, who went to DTSOI two years ago but currently goes to SHS, wants to come back to DTSOI next year, he will have to complete the whole enrollment process again to return for the 2025-2026 school year.
