Troy 30-C Monthly Happenings
May 2024
Superintendent's Corner
It's hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of the 2023-2024 school year. Our students and staff have all strived for success this school year, and for that I am proud! From daily learning in class to improving standardized test scores and attendance rates, Troy 30-C has had an exciting and successful school year! I visited our schools on multiple occasions throughout the year, and was always greeted with smiles on students' faces and their excitement for learning. I had opportunities to talk and listen to the staff, and for that I am grateful. These are all opportunities for me to listen and help improve our school district.
As our 8th grade students prepare for graduation this evening, I too am preparing to watch you walk across the stage and experience this exciting moment with all of you. You have earned it! Enjoy your graduation night! Don't forget your Troy home. We are always here to support you.
Thank you to all of our families, staff, and community members for all you do each and every day. Without all of you, we could not do what we do to educate and improve the lives of the students we serve. I hope you all enjoy the summer! Take some time to relax and appreciate the little moments of sunshine.
-Dr. Paul Schrik

Notes from the Nurse
Did you know?
6th Grade physicals can be used as Sports physicals but Sports physicals CANNOT be used as a 6th Grade physicals.
If your child is going to be in 6th Grade for the 24-25 school year, and they need a sports physical, make sure the healthcare provider is using the Certificate of Childhood Health Examination form.
Every child entering preschool, kindergarten, and 6th grade, and those entering an Illinois school for the first time, must provide proof of a current physical and immunization record before they can start school. Click here for information on school entry requirements by grade.
Please upload all new health information into the 24-25 Upload HEALTH DOCUMENTS and HEALTH CONDITIONS tile in Skyward Family Access, or you may bring it to the school. Troy nurses are now accepting physical and immunization records for the 24-25 school year. Please submit all health documents before August 1, 2024.
Please contact the building nurse if you have any questions.
