A Word from our Principal
Good evening Dodge families. Hopefully, everyone's doing well. As we just celebrated our Lunar New Year Happy New Year to everybody as we celebrate the Lunar New Year. We have a bug parade on Friday, January 31st. Congrats to all the bug winners for being unusually great. As always, we truly appreciate that. Awesome job, students, for being the students of the month and being an example for our school.
Congratulations to our eight Spelling Bee finalists. We have two from each grade. They compete for the Dodge Championship on Tuesday. Good luck, Spellers. And all the participants, thank you for doing a great job and really working hard to do your absolute best, being safe, being kind, and working hard.
Our Diversity at Dodge is on Wednesday, February 5th. It starts at 5pm. Come, everyone's invited for food tastings from different cultures, presentations from families and teachers and student showcase projects made by our very own Dodgers. Come check it out. It should be a really cool night. It really show us all what everyone's about and everything is about here at Dodge Elementary.
We have our Unity Day on February 5th, please wear orange. On Tuesday, February 11th, it's Positive T Shirt Tuesday. I know it's a lot, but everyone have an awesome weekend. Please enjoy. Be safe, be kind, work hard, and loud and proudly, boys and girls, who are we?
District School Start Times January Proposal ⏰
During the January 14th Board of Education Meeting, the School Start Time Committee presented the 2025-2026 Proposal for School Start and End Times. Following the January Board Meeting, there will be a feedback form to allow for school community feedback and a frequently asked questions document available on the District website. New school start times are anticipated to be reviewed and considered for adoption at the February 11th Board of Education meeting.
Proposed Start and End Times
Elementary Schools
- Dodge, Heim, Forest and Maple East Elementary Schools – 7:50 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Country Parkway and Maple West Elementary Schools – 8:20 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Middle Schools
- Casey, Heim, Mill, Transit Middle Schools – 8:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
High Schools
- Williamsville East, Williamsville North, Williamsville South High Schools – 8:50 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.
