Congratulations to all of our students who qualified academically for our Blue and Gold Honor Roll. Students who receive a nine-week grade average of 6.0 or higher are listed on the school academic honor roll and will receive an honor roll sticker.
Gold Honor Roll: 7.0 - 8.0
Blue Honor Roll: 6.0 - 6.9
*Please note that students on our "no-media" list have been omitted from this list on our public newsletter but their name remains on the honor roll bulletin board within the school.
Adopt-A-Family Information!
It's time for Lesher's annual Adopt-A-Family service project. We will be collecting items for families in need. Groups of ELO classes are assigned to each family. Each family communicated their needs to us and we created a SignUp Genius for each family in order to effectively collect items. Please click here or the QR code below to access each family's SignUp Genius. You will need to know your child's ELO teacher in order to know which family to support. Please let us know if you have any questions!

SRO Corner
Happy Holidays from you SRO!
December can be a challenging month for mental health, with seasonal factors like shorter days and colder weather contributing to issues such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). The pressures of the holiday season—ranging from gift-giving and family obligations to financial stress—can also heighten anxiety and stress. Additionally, for those grieving the loss of loved ones, the holidays can amplify feelings of loneliness and sadness. To manage mental health during this time, it’s important to stay active, practice self-compassion, connect with others, and seek professional support if needed. By acknowledging these challenges and prioritizing self-care, individuals can better navigate the season with greater emotional balance.
On a side note, I will out for a few months as I recover from surgery. Various SRO's will be covering my schools while I am out. Please reach out to the front desk or admin teams if you need anything, they are aware of who is covering for me and how to contact them. I will miss your kids while I am out!

PSD Engagement Norms
In an effort to foster a culture of mutual respect, effective communication, and quality customer service, PSD has created a set of norms for staff, family/guardian, and community engagement. These norms aim to set a positive tone for interactions between staff and parents and community members, whether they happen in person, over the phone, or in writing.
The norms will be posted in all PSD schools and include expectations that:
- Calls or emails that are not emergencies will be acknowledged within three school days.
- Appointments between the parties involved will be established as a norm for addressing concerns or discussing important matters through direct communication.
- Appointments will take place as soon as reasonably possible. Adequate time is needed for preparation and research before an appointment.
- Communication will focus on collaboration and understanding – respectful language and non-confrontational behavior from all parties are expected.
- Boundaries between personal and professional life will be maintained, and sensitive matters will not be addressed in community settings.
It’s important for everyone in our schools and in our communities to feel welcome and engage in mutual respect to best serve students.
