Beaver Bulletin
May Edition
Message from Ms. Station
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we conclude our first year together, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership. This year has been filled with laughter, learning, and growth, and it has been a privilege to get to know your children and become part of the Beaver family.
Our dedicated teachers have worked tirelessly to provide a nurturing and challenging learning environment. Your encouragement and involvement have been instrumental in our collective success. As we continue to strive for excellence in reading and math achievement and work to improve attendance, your continued engagement is vital.
To maintain the momentum of this year's learning, we encourage students to participate in reading and math activities over the summer. Each student will receive six books to enjoy, and they are welcome to check out additional books from the library. We will also provide math practice worksheets to reinforce their skills. Should you have any questions or need further resources to support your child's learning at home, please do not hesitate to reach out to their teacher or to me directly.
Please refer to the information below for upcoming end-of-year activities. We warmly invite and encourage your participation in these events as we celebrate the accomplishments of our students. Please note our Early Literacy Workshop for incoming kindergarteners and current kindergarten and 1st grade parents and guardians.
Thank you once again for an amazing first year. I look forward to continued collaboration and to witnessing the ongoing growth and success of our students.

Kindergarten & First Grade Zoo Field Trip
We’re so excited for our Kindergarten and First Grade field trip to the zoo tomorrow! It’s going to be a fun day full of learning and adventure. Here are a few quick reminders to help everything go smoothly:
🧴 Sunscreen & Hats:
Please put sunscreen on your child before school. A hat is also a great idea to help protect them from the sun!
👟 Comfortable Clothing:
Make sure your child wears comfy clothes and shoes—they’ll be doing a lot of walking! Mornings can be a little chilly, so feel free to send a light jacket too.
🥪 Lunch Time:
If your child is bringing a lunch from home, please pack it in disposable containers. That way, we can toss everything after lunch and not worry about losing anything. We’ll be giving each student a water bottle they can refill throughout the day.
Class Picnics
To celebrate the end of a successful 2024-25 school year, each grade level will be taking a trip to Keystone Park for a picnic and play time at the park. We will walk to the park located at 7819 Keystone Drive. We encourage students to bring a towel or blanket to sit on while they eat.
