Hello Ball’s Bluff families!
I hope your children had a fun 4-day weekend and that you were able to enjoy some family time at our Spirit Nights at Dairy Queen and Solo.
Looking ahead, the sign-up for our Trunk-or-Treat event will open today, Tuesday, Oct. 8th, after the school day ends. Be sure to check your email or our PTA page for more details.

We are thrilled to share that the 2024 BBES Trunk or Treat event is on the horizon! Flyers were distributed to students, and all parents received an email on Monday, October 7, at 2 P.M. For information on registering, please check these documents. Registration begins TONIGHT, Tuesday, October 28, at 3:30 P.M. This year, there are two ways to partake, but spaces are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your family's spot in the festivities!
Clubs will continue through October 15th or October 24th. Kindly remember that pick up is promptly at 4PM. If your child is absent or unable to attend, please email Marsha Kelly at asp@ballsbluffpta.com, and cc the ASP teacher.

How it Works:
1. Order Delicious Food: Solo Pizza has a variety of mouth-watering options to choose from.
2. Support BBES: When you place your order, be sure to mention Ball's Bluff Elementary School. This ensures that a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting our school.
3. Enjoy Said’s Catchphrase: Don't miss out on the fun of hearing Said say, "I Got You!" as he hands over your dinner.
Join us on Thursday, October 17 to learn about the Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer program! The evening will begin with free pizza and activities to enjoy with your child. Then, we will explain the program and invite attendees to be the first to sign up for Watch D.O.G. volunteer openings at school. Bring your calendar! Not familiar with the Watch D.O.G.S. program? Watch D.O.G.S.- Help us boost family and community engagement by volunteering with the Watch D.O.G.S. program! The program helps provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures are encouraged to participate. Participating volunteers will spend time in their child's classroom, along with having other tasks around school during their shift. If you sign up for the time frame your child is at lunch, you will have lunch with them and their class. Learn more about the program here: https://dadsofgreatstudents.com/
Did you know our PTA has events scheduled for each month? To make these events happen, we need extra hands! We understand many parents are unable to chair an event, but can help with tasks, such as decorating a bulletin board or passing out food at an event. Click HERE to view our SignUP and volunteer!
