Principal's Message - Mrs. Christian

Dear Garcia Families,

I always love spring and the newness it brings. It's a refreshing time, and a time to witness new growth in nature. April also brings a time to witness growth in our students. All year, staff and students have worked hard to grow, not only academically, but socially and emotionally. Many goals were set at the the beginning of the year, and we have revisited those all year long to experience the growth they are now reaching. It is an exciting time!

As we enter the last couple months of the school year, we hope you are hearing about the growth your children are making, and that they are able to share what they have been learning. We are anxious to celebrate those accomplishments as we enter into this last grading period. At Garcia, we remind students often that success is not about a test or about making the highest grades in class. Success is about each individual student and their personal journey of growth. Please join us in speaking these words over your children in order to encourage and motivate them to finish the year as strong as they began!

Thank you for your sharing your children with us, and thank you for your partnership as we work toward GROWING GREATNESS!

Estimadas familias García,

Siempre me encanta la primavera y la novedad que trae. Es un momento refrescante y un momento para presenciar un nuevo crecimiento en la naturaleza. Abril también trae un momento para presenciar el crecimiento de nuestros estudiantes. Durante todo el año, el personal y los estudiantes han trabajado duro para crecer, no sólo académicamente, sino también social y emocionalmente. Se fijaron muchas metas a principios de año y las hemos revisado a lo largo del año para experimentar el crecimiento que ahora están alcanzando. ¡Es un momento emocionante!

Al entrar en los últimos meses del año escolar, esperamos que se entere del crecimiento que están teniendo sus hijos y que puedan compartir lo que han estado aprendiendo. Estamos ansiosos por celebrar esos logros al entrar en este último período de calificaciones. En García, a menudo recordamos a los estudiantes que el éxito no se trata de un examen o de obtener las calificaciones más altas en clase. El éxito se trata de cada estudiante individual y de su viaje personal de crecimiento. ¡Únase a nosotros para decir estas palabras a sus hijos para animarlos y motivarlos a terminar el año tan fuertes como comenzaron!
