Agatheesh Alwar (8th grade) had two art pieces showcased in the artfall2024 event through Chimes foundation, at the American visionary museum in Baltimore. Artfall is an annual fundraiser for Chimes, a nonprofit that serves 26,000+ individuals with disabilities and behavioral health challenges throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to raising critical funds to support programs and services throughout Chimes, the event focuses on highlighting the artistic talents of people we serve by showcasing selected pieces of art from individuals throughout our programs.

November is National American Indian Heritage Month, also known Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month. It is during this month we acknowledge the vast achievements of America’s original indigenous people" (Retrieved 11/2024). The 2024 theme for National American Indian Heritage Month is “Affirming Native Voices: Visibility, Leadership, Service".
