TJES Quarter 4 Student Recognitions
Mrs. Niemann – Mrs. Niemann would like to recognize Kalani Courtney for always having a smile on her face and for becoming engaged in her learning.
Mrs. Rivera – Ms. Rivera would like to recognize CJ (Christopher) Peterson as the student of the quarter! CJ has shown amazing improvement and we are so proud of him! CJ is always eager to learn and is a great friend. CJ is a great leader and we love having him part of our school family. Way to go CJ! Keep up the great work!
Mrs. Weber – Mrs. Weber would like to recognize Hattie Dant as the student of the quarter! Hattie has shown amazing leadership in our classroom by following our PRIDE expectations daily. She shows respect to all members of our class family and is always willing to help anyone that needs a hand. Hattie is an enthusiastic learner and her thirst for knowledge is contagious! We are thankful that you are a part of our class family, Hattie!
Ms. Yates – Mrs. Yates would like to recognize Lindley Mason as student of the quarter. Lindley comes to school every day ready to learn with a positive attitude. Her love for learning is contagious. Lindley’s leadership and enthusiasm are like a breath of fresh air! I am thankful to have Lindley in our school family, and I cannot wait to see how she grows in the future!
Mrs. Vogel –Mrs. Vogel would like to recognize Carter Cissell as the student of the quarter. Carter consistently demonstrates a positive attitude, follows directions, completes assignments and puts forth a commendable effort. Carter exemplifies kindness and is a positive role model for his classmates. Carter's example all year has helped make our classroom a fabulous place to be. Thank you, Carter, for working so hard and being so helpful.
Mrs. Vejar – Mrs. Vejar would like to recognize Elizabeth Malone as the student of the quarter. She keeps a positive attitude and works hard every day. She is a bright light and always has a smile on her face. Elizabeth has shown growth personally and academically this school year. I am so proud of you!
Ms. Anderson – Ms. Anderson would like to recognize Sam for his outstanding growth and positive attitude in the classroom! Sam has shown remarkable improvement in the neatness of his work, taking the time to present his ideas clearly and with care. He has also made great progress in having less blurts during class. Sam continues to show increased self-control and respect for his classmates' learning time. Keep it up, Sam! Your hard work and dedication make a big difference for our class family and we’re so proud of you.
Mrs. Davenport – Mrs. Davenport would like to recognize Temuge for his amazing growth this year in academics, speech, and as a classroom leader and friend. Temuge works hard every single day, showing so much determination and effort in everything he does. His hard work has truly paid off! Temuge is kind, helpful, and always willing to include others, which makes our classroom a better place. We are so lucky to have Temuge in our class family!
Mrs. Shelton – Mrs. Shelton would like to recognize Vayda Gudeon. Vayda is a joy to have in the classroom. She is always kind and respectful to her peers and to the adults in the building. Vayda gives her best efforts with her work daily with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Vayda brightens our classroom and is a friend to all.
Mr. Shaw – Mr. Shaw would like to recognize Darnell Adams as the student of the quarter. Darnell always comes to school prepared and ready to learn something new. He is always so positive and friendly to everyone around him and gives anyone a helping hand when they really need it. I am so proud of you!
Ms. Davis – Ms. Davis would like to recognize Christopher Hobbs as the student of the quarter! He is hard working, kind, and eager to learn. He brings positive energy into the classroom everyday! He participates in class discussions and always has great ideas. I am proud of you! Great job!
Mrs. Thompson –Mrs. Thompson would like to recognize Kayden Shepperson. Kayden works hard every day and is always willing to participate in class. He is kind to his peers and helpful to his teacher. Kayden, I am so proud of all the academic growth you have made this year, and I wish you all the best in middle school!
Mrs. White – Mrs. White would like to recognize Evie Adams as student of the quarter for her creativity, enthusiasm to learn, and ability to bring joy to others. Evie is a positive light within our classroom. She is able to think outside the box and showcase her creativity in everything she does. I am so proud of your hard work this school year!
Ms. Simmons – Ms. Victoria would like to recognize DM for student of the quarter. D has continued to make great growth in her fine motor skills. She has also made improvements in addition skills as well. D continues to put forth effort to meet her personal goals. Way to go D!!
Ms. Bostock - Mrs. B would like to recognize Mason Heater as the student of the quarter for showing kindness, compassion, and being a great helper in the classroom. Mason is always kind to his teachers and classmates. He continues to learn and grow every day. Great job Mason, I am so proud of you!
Mr. Cook - would like to recognize all of our TJ TIGERS for your persistence and participation in this year’s Billion Mile Race. Because of your efforts, we met and exceeded our goal of 10,000 miles. I am so proud of each one of you!!
TRANSPORTATION
Sign Up for Bus Transportation
To ride the bus, a bus Transportation Request Form must be completed. Then, the parent will need to download the Ride360 app to see the student's bus information. Finally, once the student's bus information appears, the parent will need to call the school to let us know they have been assigned to a bus and are now a bus rider.
COMMUNICATION
GCCS Text Alerts
Greater Clark County Schools and Thomas Jefferson utilize School Messenger, a quick alert messaging service that is being utilized to communicate weather-related closures/delays, emergencies, and general communications such as important school announcements or events. Jeffersonville Science Camp 2025
Get ready for a fun-filled week of science exploration at the Knowledge is Power camp in Jeffersonville!
The theme this year is "The Dinosaurs of Science - Jurassic Camp."
- K-2 Students Time: 9:00 - 11:00 AM
- 3-5 Students time 12:00 - 2:00
* Current grade level at the time of sign-up.
Throughout the week, campers will dive into a variety of exciting experiments, including:
- Make Your Own Fossil – Discover the secrets of paleontology by creating your very own fossil.
- Fizzing Dinosaur Eggs – Watch as your dinosaur eggs fizz and erupt!
- How to Make Dinosaur Fossils – Explore how real fossils are made by mixing toothpaste and eggs to create your very own fossil replica.
These activities combine science and fun, sparking creativity while teaching you something new!

Mark your calendars – registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens on Monday, March 24, 2024!
Families of current preschool through eleventh-grade students will receive Snapcode letters before March 24th, so please keep an eye on your mailbox for this important information. Your Snapcode will be required to complete the registration process. Incoming preschool families – mark your calendars! Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year begins on April 1st at 9 AM.
Who Can Enroll?
Children who will be 4 years old by August 1, 2025 are eligible for our preschool program. Designed to support the whole child, our curriculum focuses on early development and ensuring kindergarten readiness.
Program Options & Tuition
- Full-Day Program: $150 per week
- Half-Day Program: $75 per full week
- Transportation available
Financial Assistance
Families may qualify for a 100% tuition voucher through On My Way Pre-K (OMWPK), an Indiana state-funded program providing access to high-quality preschool for low-income families. Reduced tuition options are also available.
