⭐We would like to thank all the families and Veterans who joined us for our Veterans Day program on Thursday. It was amazing to see so many supportive families in attendance to cheer on our 2nd and 5th graders. It was even more moving to see the crowd so full of Veterans. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to celebrate you and for joining us yesterday!

⭐A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Middelhoven, Mrs. Pond, and the 5th grade CAST students for all their hard work planning and preparing for such an amazing performance!

Our days quickly went from warm and sunny to cold and wet! With the change in weather, please remember to have your child dress appropriately for school:

• hat
• gloves
• coat
• winter shoes/boots

If you need help getting these winter items, please let our social worker, Ms. Michelle know and she can help. Here are the guidelines we use to determine indoor vs outdoor recess:

• 22 ℉ and above = Outdoor Recess
• 18-22 ℉ = Shortened recess or an indoor option for those who want to stay in
• 18 ℉ = Indoor Recess

November 17th -

• End of Trimester 1
• First Grade Parade (3:00 pm)

November 20-24th - Thanksgiving Break (NO SCHOOL)

November 29th - PTA Sweet Treats (for sale at lunch)

December 1st -

• Dorian Picture Retakes
• Report Cards Emailed Home
• Wildcat Pop-up Store (during lunch)

December 7th - Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting

December 20-January 2nd - Winter Break (NO SCHOOL)

January 3rd - Teacher In-service Day (NO SCHOOL)
