Welcome Back Greetings!
We're off to a great start at SDE and so excited to begin what promises to be the best year ever! We will continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and build relationships. As the Instructional Leader of this professional learning community, my top priorities include increasing student achievement through improving teacher quality and effectiveness in the classroom and increasing parental involvement that promotes clear support of the instructional program at SDE. It is also important to me that everyone who steps through our doors is excited to be here and immediately feels a sense of family and PRIDE! Such an attitude will enable us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. With this being said, our schoolwide theme for the 2022-2023 school year is “PRIDE Under Construction!” This theme promotes our charter STEAM theme, as well as the continuation of our school’s PRIDE program and core character traits.
As I begin my eighth year as Principal of this GREAT SCHOOL, please know that I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children. By employing highly qualified teachers and support staff, positively engaging all of our stakeholders, and providing a quality learning environment with adequate resources, TOGETHER we will produce successful students who are college and career ready without mediation.
