Message from the Principal
Welcome to or welcome back to Rogue Primary. I speak for the entire Rogue staff when I say that we are excited about this school year. We will be focusing on creating learning experiences for students that merge play and academic learning, especially focusing on the area of reading. Students will be learning in small and paired groups. They will be working on creating meaningful connections to ideas, contributing to conversations and learning to think critically. Most importantly their days will include hands on minds on learning to ignite their creativity and joy!
I feel extremely honored to be the principal of such a special school. I have seen all that can be accomplished when teachers, parents and community members work together to support our students. We appreciate your support and we will do our best to create the learning environment that we know is best for students. Please feel free to call or set a meeting with me if there is anything we can do to better serve your student.

Student Drop Off & Driveline
After School, parents may use our driveline/car tag system. Simply line up and we will dismiss students in the order that parents arrive. Parents can help by pulling as far forward as you can and to quickly load your child. Parents may also park and walk to pick up their student. We ask that you enter the gym though the far double doors. You will head to your child's teacher's line and teachers will dismiss walkups. Please remember that this is a busy time and teacher won't be able to have in-depth conversations
Otters Go Rogue Friday
Morning Routine
We’re delighted to welcome families who choose to park and walk their children into school each morning. To ensure a smooth start to the day for everyone, we ask that you please follow a few simple guidelines:
We absolutely love seeing parents engage with their kids and enjoy some time together during breakfast. However, please remember that before school begins is an important prep time for our teachers. To help them get ready for a successful day, we kindly request that you refrain from entering classrooms during this period.
For families with kindergarten students, please note that the kinder wing will be closed to both students and parents. Once the bell rings, students will line up in the Town Square, where their teachers will greet them and guide them to their classrooms. This is a special moment for a quick hug and encouragement before they embark on a day of learning.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting both our teachers and your child in these essential routines. Your cooperation helps create a positive and productive start to each school day!
The bikes are out!
Lost and Found
Our lost and found is already starting to get full. Please label your child's outer layers with their name or initials. If there are names we get them right back to their owners. The lost and found is located in the gym, make sure to take a peak anytime you are here on campus.
