Group Photo Day - Tues. Oct. 22nd
On Tuesday, October 22, Valley Images will be at Eagan High School to take pictures for the yearbook of the many clubs, organizations and groups that our students are involved in. Below you will find the link to the schedule for the Valley Images Group Photo Day.
Valley Images Group Photo Day Schedule
Students should leave class a few minutes early for their photo. Photos will be taken in Spirit Hall (hallway by the auditorium).
Nov. 1st Deadline to Submit Yearbook Photos
Senior pictures and baby ads are both due to the yearbook on November 1st. See our website for senior picture guidelines, instructions on how to submit, and submission verification. https://ehs.district196.org/activities/publications
The yearbook staff would like to identify students by their preferred name. Next to everyoneβs school or senior photo, the studentβs name as it appears in Campus will be printed. However, in every other place in the yearbook, a preferred name can be used. If students have a nick name in Campus, the yearbook staff will use that name. If students have a preferred name that is not in Campus, please use the Google Form to let the yearbook staff know what name we should use. If you would prefer the yearbook not use the nick name in Campus, please also fill out this form.

* Please note the yearbook has multiple deadlines throughout the school year. If you complete this form after a deadline, we cannot go back and change pages already submitted, but we can make the change moving forward
Vision Screening for the 10th Grade Class
Impaired vision and/or hearing can drastically impact a studentβs ability to learn. District 196 nurses have partnered with the Eagan Lions Club to provide FREE vision screenings for 7th and 10th grade students under the MD5M Lions KidSight Foundationβs vision screening program. Vision Screening for EHS 10th grade students will happen on Thursday, October 24th for a short time during Social Studies classes.
Members of the Lions Club have been certified in the use of a vision screener. The vision
screener is capable of screening for near-sightedness, far-sightedness, astigmatism and pupil
size deviations. The individual screening of students only takes a few seconds and is performed
from a distance of about three feet. No eye drops are administered.
If the student does not pass the screening, a vision referral letter will be sent home
recommending further examination by an eye professional. No notice will be provided if the
student passes. If you do not want your child screened or you have questions, please contact the EHS school nurse, Nicole Palmer 651-683-6917.

National Letter of Intent - Athletes
A National Letter of Intent is a binding commitment by an athlete to play collegiate athletics for a particular college or university in exchange for a scholarship. (This means your senior is signing a commitment to a Division I or Division II school to play a sport and receiving athletic financial aid for playing the sport. This would also mean the college or university has been in contact with you and your senior about the signing the paperwork. )
This is not the signing date for D-III or JUCO or NAIA Schools
November 13, 2024 is the first of three signing time periods for prospective senior student-athletes, who have played at Eagan, to sign their National Letters of Intent.
We will celebrate our D-1 and D-11 athletes at this signing.
If you have a senior (12th Grade) student who will be signing to play college athletics during this time period please contact Eaganβs Athletic Director, Jason Elias.
